I’ve created content for over 8 years, through characters like Aunt Barbra, an old-school church mother, full of life and loud expressions of praise for God, and others. Every once in a while, Aunt Barbra's best friend, Merleen, would join her.
I'm continually branching out into new creative spaces, expanding the scope of my content, and showcasing “Church” as the funniest space on earth. The black church experience is undefeated.
I’ve expanded my content into different series - OH, Blind Reaction, Quiet Friend - just to name a few. If you're looking for a good laugh, follow me.
In 2001, I graduated from Culinary School with a degree in Culinary Arts. I was proudly the only lady in my class of 17. Honestly, I was super spoiled by my male classmates and made lifetime friendships.
My culinary experience crosses all tables, from Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and Hilton Hotels, to teaching culinary arts at DC Central Kitchen and Martha’s Table, both non-profit organizations.
In August 2020, I began my own online cooking show, creating recipes and sharing culinary techniques. It showcases culinary secrets and cooking methods that make cooking a joy instead of a task.
Season 2 is coming soon.
I am currently the Culinary Director at St. Coletta of Greater Washington, serving children and adults with disabilities. I am also a ServSafe Proctor and Instructor and a Master AllerTrain Instructor.
